The scope connector on this model has a single pin slot that fits on to the light guide plug. Leakage testing of endoscopes is a necessary procedure designed to safely and easily check the integrity of the instrument. It is advised that a leak test is carried out before and after each procedure to minimise moisture contamination to the internal components of endoscopes.
