Extraction Forceps - Pattern 76N
These are tooth extraction forceps designed for upper incisor roots in people. “N” stands for narrow as the beaks are reduced width. The beaks have a concave inner surface and a slight gap between the middle of their tips(when they are closed) to give optimal grip on single roots which are round or oval shape.
The forceps are bayonet shaped – the beaks being offset from the long axis of the handles. The offset allows the beaks to be aligned with the tooth’s long axis.The overall instrument length is 15cm (6 inches). All stainless steel and very strong construction.
Uses
- Extraction of all teeth in the cat and most dog teeth (other than their canines and large teeth).
