Direct debits have been around in the UK for decades, and are a proven way to make sure you're always on top of your bills, which is why Vet Direct are introducing a pay by Direct Debit option for our vet practices.

Payments clear instantly, so there's no waiting around days for a payment to clear. And, with a recurring direct debit, there's no need worry about late payments or over-payments so you can always purchase that piece of kit your practice needs with next day delivery.

Direct debit saves you the time and worry of missed payments or untimely reminders. It also means your account is always up-to-date, so there's no rush to keep a check on your balance.

How Does It Work?

1. Set up the Direct Debit.
If you've already got an account and credit set up with Vet Direct, print and fill out our direct debit mandate form and send it back to Vet Direct. You can find the mandate form linked below or with your monthly statement. If you don't have an account, contact our Customer Care team to set your account up. Download the Mandate Form

2. Send the direct debit mandate form back to Vet Direct by either email or post. Vet Direct will set up the Direct Debit which will take up to 2 weeks

3. Continue to order on your account.

4. Your monthly Invoice Statement for the previous month will be sent to you on the first working day of the month.

5. The Direct Debit collection will take place on or around the 20th.
E.g. Direct Vets purchases £500 from Vet Direct during June. The Invoice Statement for June will be received on the first working day of July. The Direct Debit will collect £500 payment for the June Invoice Statement on or around the 20th July.
