Depth Gauge

Once you have drilled your pilot hole this prong of the depth gauge is placed down this hole and retracted where it should engage the far cortex. The measurement supplied on the gauge should indicate the length of screw needed for that hole. Important to remember to add the required measurement depending on the type of screw you are using. For Cortical Screws 1.5/2.0/2.4 & 2.7mm - add 2mm For Cortical Screws 3.5mm - add 4mm For Cortical Self-Tapping 1.5/2.0/2.4 & 2.7mm Screws - add 3mm For Cortical Self-Tapping Screws 3.5mm - add 5mm
