Well what I can say about the cozy warm patient warmer - it’s brilliant and so easy to set-up.
It’s a must have for any veterinary practice.
It’s specially made for the veterinary market and I think it’s a great size for any practice, measuring a compact 28cm Height x 22cm Length x 22cm Width. Its weight is 5.4kg, which makes storage and mobility super easy. It’s not overly noisy at just 55db, it becomes just a back ground noise in a practice. The alarm system on this machines works so well, and the control panel is easy to understand and it has a great light indicating system. The different modes are very understandable. The Darvall cosy warmer is extremely low maintenance.
Hypothermia occurs in 85% of anesthetised small animals, and the darvall cozy warm is thermostatically controlled, which makes in a busy practice day operating this machine so quick and easy, it can be used to safely warm caged or kennelled animals before anaesthesia, during recovery and critical care, as well as warming patients during surgery, dentistry, imaging and minor procedures. This helps with a faster recovery for the patient and fewer complications has it efficiently increases the pet’s temperature either before after or during the procedure.
I love the range of blanket sizes you can buy with this machine too, it’s a better range than other patient warmers on the market. And I like that this machine and blankets accommodates for all small animals from exotics to Great Danes. The blanket selection goes from small cage blankets to double kennel blankets and the small under surgery blankets to large under surgery. And they also have options of a dentistry under blanket or a mixture sample pack. I really feel when this machine was brought into the market they covered all bases.
I also like that you can get added extras to this machine and this makes the machine even more adaptable to a range of practices, you have the above large selection of blanket, a kennel door adaptor and hose extensions if needed. And coming soon I have seen that there is a 2 kennel heater hose kit.
Just to round up the Darvall cosy warm is a great, easy to use and easy to maintain machine, it is quality and very reliable. It can be used on Exotics to large dogs in many different situations, It’s been road tested by vets for vets and the price is the most competitive on the market.
