Very ine toothed forceps which, as the name suggests are used in handling the cornea (and sclera). Can be used in other fine, delicate work but care should be taken in the types of tissues these forceps are used with as the teeth could easily be damaged. The Castroviejo is the premium corneal forceps, with the Barraquer Colibri forceps being the most commonly used. The St Martins type offers a good value alternative.
