All Enigma Autoclaves – Are smart by design. All parts of the system have been thoroughly constructed and over engineered to make the systems inherently reliable. One such feature is dual circuitry. This has been designed to be a fail safe. If the unit was to develop a fault our engineers can run a smart reset (by telephone) that will run a system diagnostic – The system will then re-route any faulty circuitry component to the dual system to keep your autoclave operable, until an engineer can get to you onsite (98% within 24 Hours). Other great features include – auto fill which pumps the water in to the clean tank, no more holding bottle of water over your head, external printer as standard, easy clean filters. B-Class Autoclaves - have several pre-sterilisation vacuum phases to eliminate virtually all air from the chamber. Air is removed by strong vacuum pumps followed by an injection of steam. As steam is injected it displaces air pockets from pouches, hollow instruments and porous material. The displaced air is then removed by the vacuum phase. By the third pre-sterilisation vacuum phase there is a strong probability that all of the air has been removed from the chamber. Air is the enemy of an autoclave because air pockets act as insulation against steam. The result of air pockets within the autoclave effectively reduces the thermal transfer to the load and this in turn reduces the destructive properties of steam on bacteria, viruses and spores. Therefore, total air removal means a greater sterility assurance. As B-Class autoclaves can be used with pouched, hollow instruments and porous material (I.e. Drapes, Gowns) this makes B-Class autoclaves particularly good for veterinary surgeries.
